I've been shooting off my mouth since...I don't know...the age of 4.  It only got worse once I hit High School and discovered Speech and Debate.  I went relatively low-key for several decades, but then was overjoyed to discover a pair of local storytelling events in San Luis Obispo County.  I have told over 70 stories since, and these are my favorites.
